Hydrogen Peroxide (from the overexpressed SOD cycle)
damages cells
Endocrine abnormalities
Reduced acetylcholine receptors in the brain
Current estimates are that over 50% of adults with DS will develop MRI evidence of
Alzheimer's disease by 45.
