Inside my mind - by Dr. Schultz

    Whenever anyone moves out of the status quo, day-to-day work week, looking for something more to life, they participate in "vision-questing," one of the oldest past-times known to the human race.  Women and Men alike, down through the ages, have "vision-quested."  Men seem to do this traditionally at puberty, women wait until the transition time of menopause that issues in our "elder wise-women" years.
    All "vision-questing" deals with a force in peoples lives pushing them into this form of intro-extroversion.
    We each are different and we all HAVE to find our own way. Thus, whenever you read the life experiences of other peoples, it is only a pathway. It does not become yours until you rebirth it into your own life. 
    Please realize, when reading any of the following works, that depths and breaths of diversity exist in this world and what is written can never be the entire experience of the author, only the striped verbal expression of an emotional event or transition. It definitely is not the experience of the medical, alternative, your, and/or my experience.   We need to be aware however, that any experience does exist.....if you don't find your personal experience in these written words.....it just may not have been written yet.
    I have read the following books and articles in my personal vision quest.  For me, being raised in the traditional scientific model, I've had to "ingest" and "digest," incorporating others thoughts with my own...and always being aware that it was their experience not my own. I've been blessed to be in the position of woman and physician. I also am very much aware that I am but one of many "awakening souls." I too am in the processing of rebirthing.  But like life, we all belong to a larger entity...and we progress holographically together into a higher plain of awareness...the time is right...believe in yourself and.........may your "vision-quest" be blessed.......enjoy the journey.....for this is the reason of life.
